Friday, Gonzaga freshman Cade Guerins will appear as a stand-in in the premiering Netflix series “Everything Sucks!”

Created by Ben York Jones, “Everything Sucks!” covers the experiences of a group of teenagers in Boring, Oregon.

Grab a box of popcorn and travel back in time to 1996, where the audiovisual club and the drama club collide in a high school narrative about filmmaking, family, young love and a desire to fit in.

Guerins, who grew up in West Linn, Oregon, spent his summer on set at a local high school in Oregon City as a reoccurring friend of the main characters.

Guerins has been an actor for five years, and prior to his role in “Everything Sucks!” he participated in high school plays and was signed with a talent agency during his junior year of high school.
