Two suspects have been newly arrested in the Sept. 28 drive-by shooting that happened on East Mission Avenue and North Addison Street. The shooting occurred in the Logan Neighborhood near houses lived in by Gonzaga students off-campus and ended in two men sustaining non-life threatening injuries; neither were affiliated with the university.

The Spokesman Review reported on Nov. 5 that 25-year-old Daly Tom and 42-year-old Tustuji Wakauwn have been arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and drive-by shooting from the incident. Wakauwn has also been booked with unlawful possession of a firearm.

Julie Humphreys, a spokesperson for the Spokane Police Department, said that both suspects were already in jail on unrelated charges. Tom is in Spokane County Jail and Wakauwn is in Benton Franklin County Jail.
