Gonzaga freshman Brock Ravet has taken an indefinite leave of absence from the team.

Gonzaga freshman Brock Ravet has stepped away from the program indefinitely, according to a team release. The news was announced Friday evening, shortly before GU's exhibition game against Lewis-Clark State tipped off at 6 p.m.

"We're 100% supportive of Brock's decision and we want the best for him, head coach Mark Few said in a statement. "We're doing everything we can to support him."

No further details have been disclosed at this time.

A 6-foot-1 guard from Kittias, Washington, Ravet collected one assist and one rebound in five minutes of play during Kraziness in the Kennel last month.

He is the all-time leading scorer in the state of Washington, tallying over 3,000 points in his high school career while guiding Kittias High to three consecutive state championships.
